Appleton Infant Care Program

Michele M.

My name is Michele M. and I’ve been in child care since 1994. I’m married and my husband George is retired. We have three grown children, all married and four grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy traveling to visit family and friends and spending time with our children and grandchildren. I also enjoy all types of music and working with the care ministry within my parish. I received my Child Development Associates in 2002. I also have my Early Childhood I and II, along with my Infant and Toddler. Young Child Development Center is a safe, healthy, and clean childcare center that I’ve been a proud team member at since 2004, working with the Infants. Teamwork is important. As teachers work together in each class room an excellent learning environment is created. Here at the center parents are treated with courtesy and respect, with regular communication about their child’s progress and the assurance that their child is safe and well nurtured and cared for.

Megan A.

Hi my name is Megan. I graduated from L’Anse High School, in Upper Michigan. In my spare time I like to be outdoors fishing, hiking, and camping. I moved to Appleton in February 2010. I always knew that I wanted to work with children. They inspire me and I love working with them and watching them grow and learn. I took Early Childhood classes for two years while I was in high school. After high school I moved to Ironwood, Michigan to continue my education at Gogebic Community College. I received my associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education in December of 2009. I hope to make a difference in the lives of the children and families in a positive and warm way.
