Hi, my name is Courtney.  I graduated from Appleton North High School in 2008.  During high school I earned my assistant teacher certification along with child CPR.  I started working at YCDC during July.  I am currently going to UW  Fox Valley which I will then transfer over to Eau Claire, where I will be pursuing a degree in Child Psychology.  I love working with the children and helping them grow.

Hello, my name is Kaofoua.  I am the assistant teacher in the Pre-K room.  I am still pursuing my associated degree in Early Childhood Education at FVTC.  I always knew that I wanted to be an early childhood educator because I think it is a great pleasure seeing young children grow and progress with their developmental skills, teaching children new things for they are our future, and because I know that every day would be a new day of learning and memories. 

I do have some experience working with children.  In high school I took Child Development I, II, and III.  In my II and III series, we had a mini daycare where children aged 3 & 4 would come in and we would teach them lessons that we had planned for that day.  For one semester, I worked with the 3 year old children at the FVTC.  Some of my strengths include my patience and love for very young children.  I'm an open and easy going person, and my responsibilities.  Once I have finished with school and have earned my associates degree, I plan to become the lead teacher and still be working at YCDC because YCDC is a great place to work with great educated teachers and friends.

Hi, My name is Radhika.  As a mother of three, I combine my own experiences with different learning methods to make learning fun.  I have more than 17 years of child care experience and offer a unique learning experience for my students.  My education includes a B.A. in History and certification as an Early Childhood Teacher's Assistant.  I live in Appleton with my husband, two sons and daughter and enjoy cooking and hiking.
